Coaching is a collaborative partnership focused on moving you forward. I work with you to identify what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change. Together we build strategies tailored specifically to your brain and your life, then we support you in actually implementing them. Coaching is action-oriented, solution-focused, and rooted in the belief that you have everything you need within you. My job is to help you access it.

Consulting is when an expert provides specialized knowledge, recommendations, and solutions based on their expertise and experience. As a consultant, I would assess your situation, draw on my fifteen years of study and lived experience with ADHD, anxiety, and perimenopause, and provide you with evidence-based strategies, systems, and actionable recommendations tailored to your challenges. You'd receive expert guidance on what to do and how to do it.
-
Coachsultant is a word I created because having ADHD means I often see things a little differently, including how I believe support should work. I don’t think meaningful change always fits neatly into one box. Rather than choosing between one approach or the other, I blend them. I bring my fifteen years of study, my lived experience with ADHD, anxiety, and perimenopause, and my professional expertise to the table. I consult with you about evidence-based strategies while coaching you through implementation in a way that actually works for your specific brain and life. You get expert guidance paired with personalized, collaborative support.
-
Coaching helps because it honors your expertise about your own life. You're not getting someone else's one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we partner to figure out what actually works for your brain, your circumstances, and your goals. It feels collaborative and sustainable because you're invested in creating the solution.
Consulting helps because you get expert guidance without having to figure everything out from scratch. I bring fifteen years of study and lived experience to identify evidence-based strategies and systems proven to work for ADHD, anxiety, and perimenopause. You get clear direction and actionable recommendations.
Coachsulting helps because you get the best of both. You receive expert strategies and specialized knowledge, but you're not left alone to implement them. I support you through the actual process of making changes, customizing everything to fit your real life, celebrating wins, and working through obstacles together. You get expert guidance paired with genuine partnership.

ADHD stands for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. It's a neurodevelopmental difference that affects how your brain processes information, manages attention, regulates emotions, and organizes tasks. People with ADHD often experience challenges with focus, time management, impulse control, working memory, and executive function. ADHD shows up differently in everyone, and it's especially common in women to go undiagnosed because we're often really good at masking our struggles.
I am not a diagnostician. I cannot diagnose you with ADHD. Only a qualified healthcare provider can do that. However, if you're interested in pursuing an official diagnosis, I can help you find referrals to appropriate providers. That said, you do not need an official diagnosis to work with me. If you're experiencing ADHD-related challenges, we can work on them together regardless.
-
Coaching helps with ADHD because we work together to figure out what actually works for your brain, not what's supposed to work. ADHD brains don't respond well to generic productivity systems or willpower. You need strategies customized to how you think and how you live. Through coaching, we identify your specific challenges, celebrate what's already working, and build sustainable habits that fit your life instead of fighting against your brain. It's about acceptance and adaptation, not trying to force yourself into a neurotypical mold.
-
Consulting helps because I can draw on fifteen years of study and my own lived experience with ADHD to provide you with evidence-based strategies, systems, and tools proven to support executive function, time management, organization, and focus. Rather than you having to research and experiment endlessly, I can say "here's what works for ADHD brains" and give you a clear starting point. You get expert recommendations without having to figure it all out from scratch.
-
Coachsulting is especially powerful for ADHD because knowing a strategy and actually implementing it are two very different things. Yes, I can consult with you about what evidence-based approaches might help. But then we coach through the implementation together. We customize it to fit your specific life. We troubleshoot when something isn't working. We celebrate the wins. We work through the obstacles. You get expert guidance plus the ongoing support and partnership that makes real change possible.

Anxiety is a natural response your nervous system has to perceived threat or stress. It's your body's way of preparing you to handle a challenge. But for some people, anxiety becomes overwhelming, persistent, and gets in the way of daily life. It can show up as worry, physical symptoms like racing heart or tension, difficulty concentrating, or avoidance of situations that trigger anxious feelings. Anxiety exists on a spectrum, and it's completely normal to experience it sometimes. The question is whether it's helping you or holding you back.
I am not a diagnostician. I cannot diagnose you with an anxiety disorder. Only a qualified healthcare provider can do that. However, if you're interested in pursuing an official diagnosis or exploring treatment options, I can help you find referrals to appropriate providers. That said, you do not need an official diagnosis to work with me. If you're experiencing anxiety-related challenges, we can work on them together regardless.
-
Coaching helps with anxiety because we work together to understand what's triggering it, what patterns are showing up, and what you actually need to feel more grounded and safe. Anxiety isn't something to shame or force away. Through coaching, we explore where the anxiety is coming from, build coping strategies tailored to how your nervous system works, and develop sustainable tools you can use in real time. We also address the behaviors and thought patterns that might be keeping anxiety going. It's about developing skills and self-awareness so you feel more equipped to navigate anxious moments, not about pretending the anxiety doesn't exist.
-
Consulting helps because I can draw on fifteen years of study and my own lived experience with anxiety to provide you with evidence-based strategies and tools proven to calm your nervous system and reduce anxious thoughts. Rather than you having to research and experiment endlessly, I can offer you concrete approaches to managing physical symptoms, breaking anxiety cycles, and building resilience. You get expert guidance on what actually works without having to figure it all out from scratch.
-
Coachsulting is powerful for anxiety because understanding a strategy intellectually is different from actually being able to use it when you're in an anxious moment. I can consult with you about evidence-based tools, but then we coach you through implementing them in your real life. We customize strategies to fit your specific triggers and nervous system. We troubleshoot when something isn't working. We work through the resistance that sometimes comes up. You get expert guidance paired with the ongoing support that helps you actually feel calmer and more grounded.

Perimenopause is the transition phase leading up to menopause, which can last anywhere from a few years to a decade. During this time, your hormones fluctuate dramatically, which affects everything: your mood, sleep, energy, focus, body temperature, metabolism, and emotional regulation. Perimenopause means your periods become irregular. You might skip a month, then have a heavy period, then go three months without one. Your cycle becomes unpredictable. You might experience hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, weight gain, anxiety, mood swings, low libido, joint pain, and insomnia. Some months feel manageable. Other months feel completely out of control.
Menopause is officially when you've gone twelve consecutive months without a period. After that, you're in postmenopause. Many women describe perimenopause and menopause as their body suddenly feeling unfamiliar and unreliable, even though they're doing everything they think they're supposed to do.
I am not a diagnostician or a medical provider. I cannot diagnose you with perimenopause or menopause. Only a qualified healthcare provider can do that. However, if you're interested in exploring treatment options or getting a professional evaluation, I can help you find referrals to appropriate providers. That said, you do not need an official diagnosis to work with me. If you're experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause or menopause, we can work on navigating them together regardless.
-
Coaching helps because perimenopause and menopause aren't just about physical symptoms. They're emotional, mental, and practical. Through coaching, we explore what's shifting in your life and body, how it's affecting you, and what you actually need to feel like yourself again. We identify what strategies are helping and what isn't working. We rebuild your relationship with your body and your needs. We work through the identity shifts and the grief that sometimes comes with this transition. It's about meeting you where you are and building a life that works with your changing body, not against it.
-
Consulting helps because I've studied extensively in perimenopause and menopause health and am pursuing my menopause coaching certification. This gives me evidence-based knowledge about what's happening to your body and brain during this transition. I can explain why you're experiencing specific symptoms, what actually helps, and what doesn't. Rather than you having to figure out whether your anxiety is hormonal, your fatigue is real, or your brain fog is normal, I can provide expert perspective and practical recommendations. You get clarity and direction without having to do endless research.
-
Coachsulting is especially valuable for perimenopause and menopause because knowing what's happening to your body is different from knowing how to actually live through it. Yes, I can consult with you about what's normal, what strategies help, and what to expect. But then we coach through the actual experience together. We navigate the symptoms, the emotional shifts, the lifestyle changes. We adjust your systems and strategies as your body changes. We celebrate small wins and work through the hard days. You get expert knowledge paired with real partnership through this transition.

Click below to schedule your free consultation. You'll be taken to my Practice Better calendar where you can book a time that works for you. If you prefer to email first, you can reach me at msnow@alignedreflection.com.
During our consultation, we'll talk about what's going on, what you're hoping to work on, and whether we're a good fit to work together. This is just as important for me as it is for you. One of the most important elements of working with a coach is making sure that you feel seen, heard, and understood. You should immediately feel comfortable and be able to envision yourself being vulnerable and open with me. If something doesn't feel right, that matters. If you walk away from our call feeling like you can trust me and that I genuinely get it, that's a good sign we're a match. There's no pressure either way. This relationship has to feel right for both of us.

Choosing the right coach is essential to your progress and growth, and I believe our relationship plays a critical role in your success. Here's why I may be a good fit for you:
Personal Understanding: I know firsthand how anxiety, ADHD, and perimenopause can shape your life because I've walked that path myself. My personal journey has given me deep empathy and insight into the struggles you're facing. I'm not coaching from theory alone. I'm coaching from lived experience.
Tailored Approach: I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Together, we'll create a personalized plan that fits your unique brain, your life, and your goals. I'll provide you with practical tools and strategies grounded in evidence-based practices, but customized specifically for you. We'll build systems that actually work instead of fighting against how you think and live.
Warm and Non-Judgmental Environment: I provide a safe, supportive space where you can be your authentic self. Coaching is a true partnership, and I'm here to listen without judgment, understand what's really going on, and support you as you move forward and take action.
Real-Life Experience: As a parent, professional, and someone who's navigated mental health challenges and major life transitions, I bring a relatable, compassionate perspective. I understand how overwhelming life can feel, and I'm here to help you build strategies that actually work, find balance, and create real change.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to walk that path with you, offering guidance, support, and understanding at every turn. Let's work together to help you see your aligned reflection.

Therapy and coaching serve different purposes and work beautifully together. Therapy typically focuses on processing past experiences, healing emotional wounds, and understanding root causes of current patterns. A therapist helps you work through what happened and how it's affected you. They teach you coping strategies and tools to manage what you're experiencing. Coaching is where you take those tools and actually use them. Coaching is focused on where you are now and where you want to go. I work with you to create strategies and systems that help you actually implement what you've learned in therapy. Together we build sustainable habits, troubleshoot when things aren't working, and support you in taking consistent action. Many people find that having both a therapist and a coach is powerful because your therapist helps you understand and heal, while your coach helps you build the life and habits that support that healing.

If you know me, you know I’m extra, in the best possible way.
I love being immersed in magic and wonder, and I love creating it for myself and the people I love. If there is an opportunity to make something more memorable, meaningful, or just plain fun, I’m all in.
My family is my life. One of my favorite traditions is our family sing-alongs. We built a stage in our theater room for this very reason, where my husband, Jamie, my son, Aiden, and I sing at the top of our lungs and pretend we are rock stars. Those nights are some of my favorite memories.
I am obsessed with Christmas and Halloween. We have seven Christmas trees, a life-size Santa and reindeer, and we are approximately one decoration and one light bulb away from becoming the Griswolds. At Halloween, our house is completely transformed into a haunted house, and it takes months for my nervous system to recover from listening to the animatronics.
I also love hosting themed parties and creating experiences that make people feel like they have stepped into another world. Disney is one of my favorite places, and every couple of years I convince, okay, force, my family to DisneyBound with me. My son has become a little more resistant as he has gotten older, but I still believe that if you are going to be extra, Disney is the perfect place to do it.
That love of creating magical moments inspired me to start Storybook Celebrations. Whether it is a luxury teepee sleepover, a themed party, or the perfect Disneybound, I love bringing an idea to life and creating something that makes someone feel truly special. Creating is one of the times I feel most energized, inspired, and completely myself.
But as much as I love the big ideas and magical moments, I have also learned how much I need quiet moments to recharge. With 10,000 tabs usually open in my brain, being fully present does not always come naturally to me. I find it in nature and, strangely enough, in 3D movies, where I cannot multitask and have no choice but to be completely immersed in the moment. Both remind me to slow down, notice what is right in front of me, and actually experience the life I have worked so hard to create.
